There were a lot of seagulls around when I took this picture. Most of them were the small ones like the one in the background – noisy little things!
There were a couple of these bigger ones though. They seemed to be trying to keep the little ones in check. Or bullying them.
At one point this one was flying around and passed a lamppost which a little one was sitting on. The big swerved off route enough to shoo the little one off its perch, then continued flying around. Clearly it wasn’t trying to get the perch for itself!

Impressive seagull…they are actually quite large close up…small dog with wings!

You are so right! They’re actually pretty intimidating… Wouldn’t want to piss one off, that’s for sure.

Lol…we had one on the park at the back of us…it was eyeing my cat in such a way I had to rush out and grab her and run back indoors…lol!
