The snow has not yet melted, as you can see from this picture. This was taken at the beach near my less-frequent place of work. I thought it was really interesting to see the mostly frozen sea, at least where it’s closer to the sand. Further out it wasn’t frozen.
Actually, it was even more interesting further down the beach. In this picture the ice has cracked in places. I spotted a place further on where it wasn’t cracked, and it was fascinating to see that there were… I guess you could call them ridges. Almost like the waves had frozen. Of course they were very small ridges, not full waves. But still. I wish I’d got a picture!
