10 Cards 1 Release With Heffy Doodle Stamps (With Video)

I’ve been busy at work this weekend to get this special post ready for you. I recently backed a Kickstarter campaign from Heffy Doodle and when I received the stamp sets from the release I knew I wanted to challenge myself to make ten cards with them. I had a few ideas immediately and made a note of them, and started playing with other ideas for cards. There are five sets in the release – four with cute animals (bears, lions, elephants and crocodiles) and one to be used on interactive cards. I knew I wanted to do at least one card per animal set that was made only with stamps from that set. Then for the other cards I allowed myself to combine the stamp sets. (Please note, this is an image heavy post!)

……….

Phew! That was a lot of work. I had so much fun doing this and learned a lot. Not least of which is that allowing myself a day and a half to make all the cards, do the filming, photography, video editing, voice over and blog post is, well… probably not enough time! I’m definitely going to make more 10 card 1 release/kit/etc videos in future, but I’ll try to give myself a more realistic time frame to do it in. I hope these videos are something you’ll be interested in seeing!

I’d love to hear which of the cards you liked best. I honestly can’t decided which I is my favourite. I’m so pleased with how they turned out, and like them all for different reasons. It’s difficult to chose!

Love,

Lady Joyful

P.S., you can now follow me on Instagram where you can get sneaky peeks at what I’m working on, and maybe even the occasional cat picture! And of course you can still find me on Facebook and YouTube!
