Card 1 – Love Makes A Home

Card 2 – Home Is Family
Card number two also uses some of the cut-aparts. I simply cut them down to equal sizes and arranged them on my card base. I adhered four directly to the card base with double-sided tape, then used foam tape to pop up at the final one in the centre.

Card 3 – Thinking Of You
I used my hill die again for card number three, cutting down a leafy patterned paper and adhering it to a green card base. I then arranged the three tree stickers on the hill and added a sentiment cut apart just below them.

Card 4 – Blessed
I went back to the cut-aparts for card four. I found a few that mentioned being grateful and blessed, and decided to put the three of them together. I took a piece of scripty patterned paper to use as the backing, then adhered the cut-aparts onto it, using foam tape for the centre one.
Card 5 – Home
I decided to try and use up an off cut for card five. I paired a remainder of the leaf paper I’d used on my tree card with another of the patterned papers and attached them to a card base. I then added a house sticker onto the leaf paper, and then added a simple banner sticker onto the other side.
Card 6 – Flowers For You
With card six I created a more clean and simple design. I layered up a floral cluster sticker with some leafy stickers to make an arrangement. I then adhered them directly to a brown card base, and added a cut-apart as a sentiment.

Card 7 – Hello Lady
My starting point for card seven was the sillhouette lady sticker. I noticed that the pattern on her was very similar to one of the patterned papers, so I wanted to use them together. Putting her directly on the paper though would have been too busy. Instead I adhered her to a rectangle of less busy paper and adhered that to the panel of the paper I’d originally wanted to use. I then added a sentiment cut-apart and adhered the panel to a cream card base.

Card 8 – Just For You
I used the stamp set for card eight. I picked out all the little leafy images, arranged them together on an acrylic block, then stamped them onto a brown card base randomly, rotating the block as I went to vary the pattern a bit. I then heat embossed them with gold embossing powder. I layered together two of the tag cut aparts and covered the hole with a gold heart sticker before adhering them to the card base.

Card 9 – Homely Thanks
I decided to again use up some snippets for card nine. I adhered the papers perpendicularly to each other on a green card base, then added the last house sticker into the negative space created between them. I then adhered a sentiment cut apart over the patterned paper.
Card 10 – Happy Day
For my final card I decided to bring in some of the beautiful specialty paper. I trimmed down a panel which I adhered centrally on a cream card base. I then topped it with a couple of stickers.

……….
I had fun with this kit despite some initial concerns. I love the colour combinations and the overall look of the kit. As I said at the beginning I have a lot of product left. Almost all of the specialty papers, as well as a lot of the patterned papers and maybe half of the stickers still. I can definitely get more mileage from this set.
I’d love to hear which your favourite card is. I always have a hard time choosing. I really like 3, 6, 7, 8 and 10, but I can’t narrow it down any more than that!
Love,
Lady Joyful
