When I shared my 10 cards 1 kit post and video recently I mentioned that I had made 14 cards from the Love From Lizi April kit. (Actually I could easily make many more as I have so much product left still!) Some of the techniques I used are similar to ones I used in the original post, but these cards are all different from those original ten.
Card 1 – I Am
I really made use of the stamp set for my first bonus card. I created a turn about stamp (details here) using a variety of the words from the We Are stamp set, and stamped them with Altenew Frosty Pink, Frayed Leaf, Mountain Mist, and Simon Says Stamp Barely Beige ink. I had picked the colours to match the colours of the patterned paper. I cut my piece of patterned paper to be just smaller than my black card base and adhered it in place. I matted my turn about panel and adhered that atop the patterned paper. I then took a smaller piece of patterned paper, added the black “I AM” letter ephemera from the kit, then adhered that top panel to the card.

Card 2 – Focusing On The Good
For card number two I used the bird embossing folder from the kit to create my background panel. I adhered it to a yellow card base and topped it with the floral “I AM” ephemera and a yellow sentiment banner.

Card 3 – On A Journey
My third card uses one of the large, almost card front sized cut apart pieces. I added a piece of the scallop border sticker across it, edged that with peel offs and then added the bike ephemera and “on a journey” banner. I then adhered the whole panel to a pink card base and edged it with more peel offs.

Card 4 – We Are Happy
I used the large wooden “happy” sentiment on my final card. I coated it with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink then clear heat embossed to give it some shine. I then stamped “we are” onto the watercolour look patterned paper and adhered the wooden piece to it. I embellished with some of the heart stickers, placing each colour of heart on a coordinating coloured splotch on the patterned paper.
And those are the other four cards I got from the kit. As I said I have a lot of kit left over still and could easily make a bunch more cards by adding my own card bases in. I’m not sure I’ll have the time to do that any time soon though as I’m already starting to work on the next kit (see the unboxing here, or subscribe to the kit: US & Canada, EU, UK, rest of the world), which is a fun one! If all goes to plan I should have a video up for that on May 1st, or sometime there abouts.
