I was on the Blank Page Muse blog earlier this month sharing a pretty floral birthday card using the emboss resist technique. I was ill at the time and didn’t manage to share about it here! If you haven’t seen it yet you can find it here. In the post I show how to create gradient ink-blending over heat embossing to make a pretty background. There are photos of the process, and you can see the finished card over there too, so I hope you’ll check it out!
I used Background Roses as well as Happy Birthday Phrase for creating my card. I started with masking the edges, stamping and heat embossing my background, then ink blending. I also added a heat embossed sentiment on a contrasting strip.
I hope this sneak peek piques your curiosity, and if it did make sure you check out the BPM blog to see the full card.
