Blank Page Muse | Monochrome Birthday | Quick Idea

I’m on the Blank Page Muse blog sharing a fun card that is made very quickly with just black stamping, a little heat embossing, and Nuvo Drops to finish. If you haven’t seen it yet you can find it here.

I used the Ribbon Lacing Corset stamp as my focal point, stamping and heat embossing it in black. I then used the large Happy Birthday sentiment and stamped that in black below the focal image. Finally I finished off with some Ebony Black Nuvo Drops.

This is definitely a very quick but still striking card design. The monochrome could be broken up by switching out the Nuvo Drops and using something to add a pop of colour. The design could easily be adapted in other ways, for example using a different image as a focal point, and even a different sentiment.
