Unboxing & A Card | Catherine Pooler

Recently one of the team members over at Catherine Pooler reached out and asked for my address to send me some goodies as a thank you for me being an affiliate and having talked about their products when I shared this card. I was over the moon when I received the box of products and found multiple stamps, inks and a stencil – much more than I’d ever expected. I decided to make a short unboxing video to show what I received, as well as show a quick, one layer card that I made with some of the products.

For my card I started with the Sandy Background stamp which I positioned in my MISTI and stamped with Lime Rickey, Aquatini and Something Borrowed inks. I inked random portions of the stamp with each ink to add interest to the design. I think ink blended each of the same three colours across the image before restamping once more to complete the look.

I chose a sentiment stamp from Happy Together which I position over the ink blended area and stamped with Midnight ink. I added white gel pen detail to the sentiment and finished the card with a trio of Nuvo Drops in Simply White.

I’m really thankful to have received these products and very much looking forward to playing with them more in future. I’d love to hear which you’d most like to see me use! I enjoyed making the card, though I did have a little mishap with the ink blending but that was easily covered with my sentiment.
