For my contribution to the hop I created three snippet bauble tags. I started by cutting a snippet of white shimmer card three times with one of the dies from Queen & Co’s Merry & Bright Ornament kit. I then adhered the bauble frames onto a snippet of alcohol inked vellum I had leftover from a previous project. I fussy cut around the pieces so that they did not extend beyond the frames.

With a small snippet of silver mirror card I die cut the tops of my baubles, and glued those into place. At this stage the baubles had a stained glass window look to them, with the translucent, alcohol inked vellum. Whilst pretty, it wasn’t very useful for tags as it left nowhere to write. I remedied this by adding white pieces (more snippets!) to cover the backs of the baubles. I then finished off each tag with some silver ribbon (which if I remember correctly once adorned boxes of chocolates).

These bauble tags are a great way to use up snippets of paper, and they’re also pretty enough to keep as decorations for the tree once their job of gift tags has been completed!

Be sure to hop over to Holli next!

Here’s our line up in case you get lost along the way.
