TMR 127 | Love In Yellow | Anything Masculine Goes

It’s a brand new year, a brand new decade, and a brand new challenge at The Male Room! We’re starting off with a nice easy challenge. The theme is Anything Masculine Goes and the sky is the limit! I decided to make a simple, one layer, just because card for my husband focusing on his favourite colour.

I began my card by stamping the large Love You sentiment from Catherine Pooler’s Happy Together stamp set using Midnight ink. I imagined the card split into three columns, and positioned it into the central third, shifted up a bit rather than being directly in the centre of the card.

Next I took the striped circle stamp from the Punctuated Party stamp set and repeatedly stamped it throughout that same imaginary middle column using Limoncello ink. I stamped some circles at full strength, and others with second or third generation. I also used a small heart image from the same stamp set and filled out the design in the same way.

This was a pretty quick and easy card to make, but I think my husband will appreciate it! The design can very easily be customised to suit the recipient just by changing up the colour ink to be their favourite colour. Or stamp a rainbow or whatever colour combination you prefer.

Love,

Lady Joyful
