Coffee/Tea Wreath | Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Time for another coffee card! This is the second card I’m sharing for the Coffee Lovers’ Blog Hop. I actually made this one intending to link it to the winter hop, but never actually got around to sharing it anywhere. This blog post has been languishing half-written ever since. I figured now would be a good time to get it finished and shared!

I placed the brown card base into my MISTI with the Gina K Wreath Builder stencil. I then lined up the mug stamp from Love From Lizi’s Hello Autumn stamp set. I stamped it repeatedly around to create a wreath, added a sentiment from the same stamp set in the centre, then heat embossed the lot with Love From Lizi’s Golden Crown embossing powder.

Next I added some pops of colour. I used a red pencil to add colour to the hearts on all of the mugs. I also used a white gel pen to add swirls of steam coming from each mug, as well as flourishes around the sentiment, completing the card.

Quite a simple design, but I think it’s fairly striking, too. As I said, this is the second card I’m sharing for the hop. You can find the first one here. I’m planning to share one a day, so be sure to check back for more! And you can easily find all the coffee-themed cards I’ve ever shared by clicking here.

Love,

Lady Joyful
