There’s no colouring on today’s card for the Coffee Lovers’ Blog Hop. The previous three cards have all involved using my markers. For this one I decided to leave them aside and just concentrate on stamping instead.

I started with a panel of white card which I trimmed to 4″ square, then placed into the Gina K Wreath Builder stencil. I then chose one of the circle stamps from the Wreath Builder stamp set and used Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide to stamp my wreath. I then set the panel aside.
Next I used Catherine Pooler’s Midnight ink to stamp Love From Lizi’s Candystripe background stamp onto a snippet of white card which I cut out with my MFT coffee cup die to cut it out. (The dies I have are no longer available, but MFT has these ones as an alternative.) I also cut the sleeve from vellum, the lid from a snippet of black, and the larger of the two hearts from the set with a snippet of blue.
I used Tombow Mono Multi Glue to adhere all the elements of the cup together, being sure only to glue the vellum behind the heart so that the adhesive wouldn’t show through. I then adhered my wreath panel to my card base and added my coffee cup over the top. I decided to go without a sentiment this time.

This card idea popped into my head fully formed, which is rather unusual for me! Of course I had to go and work on making it straight away, and I’m so happy with how it turned out!
If you missed any of my previous cards just follow the links to card one, two, three, four, five and six. Or you can find all the coffee cards I’ve ever shared here.
Love,
Lady Joyful
