A few days ago I decided I wanted to participate in Kendra’s Card Challenge. If you don’t know what that is, basically you use 6 patterned papers to make a whole bunch of cards following particular guidelines. Details can be found here. I had already decided I wanted to use Honey Bee Stamp’s “The Bees Knees” patterned papers that I have from an old Simon Says Stamp card kit. (You can see a card I made when I first got the kit here.) Last night I sorted through them, splitting the 12 sheets into two lots of six, deciding which side I wanted to use on each, and working out which would be sheet A, which sheet B, etc. Today I got on with creating.
It took me the entire day.
Maybe I’m working slower, because I’m sick at the moment, but still. That was a long time. Especially as I already had all the bee characters stamped, coloured and fussy cut. And I knew I wanted to blog them today so I was trying to go quickly. Eventually I got them done, started on the photos and… my camera died. No problem, I have a back up battery. Which wasn’t where it lives, but I found it and… that was dead too. Great. So I am sharing the photos of the cards I managed to get photographed, and I’ll come back in the morning and add the rest!
As well as the patterned papers I used stamps from Simon Says Stamp’s Bee Yourself stamp set, and some dies from my stash which I may edit a list of here tomorrow.
EDIT: I have added the remaining photos! My camera batteries are being a pain, but I was able to get one working long enough for doing the rest of the pictures at least. Sorry for the lack of write up though, I am feeling decidedly blegh with this awful cold.

Despite the time it took, and the issue with the camera, I did have a lot of fun making these cards! I’m considering doing another run through with the six remaining patterned papers from the set. But perhaps I’ll allow myself a bit more time to get them done if I do have another go! I’d love to hear which one is your favourite!
