Hello and welcome to The Joyful Soul Creates!
This blog is an offshoot of our original blog, The Joyful Soul. I, Lady Joyful, initially made The Joyful Soul Creates to have a blog dedicated to all the things I make – photography, crafts, writing – but it quickly evolved into a space for me to share my developing card making hobby.
I started making cards at the beginning of 2016, and soon became addicted. I enjoy making cards and will often make a new one each day, which means I have quite a stash of them! Every card I make is a learning experience, and I develop and refine my style and technique with each one.

Lady Joyful, didn’t see a contact page so I’ll ask here. Is it OK to use the picture of your Elephantastic Birthday card? I had to build upon a comment that interested me on a site I liked and I chose the comment between you and samanthamurdoch on lighting, shadowing and coloring. Good luck at your coloring class. Let me know about the picture.
