Today I’m sharing another card for my snarky series, inspired by a stamp set from Chunky Monkey Crafts, who I am designing for. As with the other cards in this series I kept the design clean and simple, though this time I did decide to add an image rather than just having a focal sentiment.
I’m on The Little Paper Tree YouTube channel as well as my own channel today sharing my latest design team project. This time I decided to create a one layer scene card, and further challenged myself to keep it monochromatic. I decided to go with yellow as the main colour for my design.
I’m so excited to be sharing my very first Design Team project for The Little Paper Tree. I decided to go for a clean and simple scene with ink blending and masking for this first project. Masking is a great technique for creating scenes without adding too much bulk to the finished project.

This challenge is sponsored by All Dressed Up (who provided the image I used on my card) and Ppinky Dolls, who … More Hello Mermaid – IWD Nov 20-Dec 4

It’s the time of year when “back to school” is on everybody’s minds. I wanted to do something along the theme, but I don’t really have anyone of a school age that I would be sending a card too. But then I realised, what’s to say it has to be a primary (elementary) age anyway? … More Study Note
