I decided to have another go at watercolouring my snow couple stamp. This time it went much better, although still not quite how I was hoping it to be. I think my biggest problem is lack of patience, or perhaps lack of time which I suppose causes me to be impatient!
I find this picture strangely pretty, and soothing. There’s a calmness about it. Of course when I saw the boat I had to take a picture.
The snow has not yet melted, as you can see from this picture. This was taken at the beach near my less-frequent place of work. I thought it was really interesting to see the mostly frozen sea, at least where it’s closer to the sand. Further out it wasn’t frozen.
It snowed in the night. I was beginning to think we’d end up with a snowless Christmas…
More ice! Isn’t it shiny? I don’t mind the ice up on the rocks like that – I think it’s rather pretty. What I do mind is
Look, it’s ice. Icy ice. I’m tired…
Here’s a picture I took a few weeks ago but didn’t end up using. It’s strange, I remember that there was that much snow, but comparing the picture to how the weather is now it’s kind of hard to believe it.
