It’s been pretty warm here in Southern Finland the last couple of weeks, and is definitely feeling like summer. I’m very lucky because I can go to the beach during my work day! For those of you that don’t know, I work as a nanny, and taking the children to the beach is a perfectly … More Water You Up To?
It’s my turn to host the challenge at Watercooler Wednesday this week, and we’re all about occasions! I wanted to make a new baby card but I couldn’t decide whether to stamp or stencil, make a one layer card or dimensional… So I decided to revive my ‘same but different’ series on my YouTube channel … More WWC169 – Charlotte’s “All About Occasions” Challenge
I feel like it’s been ages since I last made a card that wasn’t for a design team project. I’m sure it’s not been as long as I think, but still. I had the idea for this simple card and managed to squeeze in creating it between other projects.
For my latest video over on the Sasayaki Glitter YouTube channel I decided to recreate a card I’d made a little while before I joined the team. I had a few ideas immediately and made … More 10 Cards 1 Release With Heffy Doodle Stamps (With Video)

But then I thought hey… that candle would be casting light around, right? So I decided to play with the look of cast light on my elephant. … More Elephantastic Birthday
Today I decided to push my comfort zone a bit and create my own background for this safari scene. I didn’t have any stamps for the trees etc. so I drew them in freehand. It was a bit scary, and took me quite a while! I think it’s something I’d like to play with doing … More Wild Day
Despite really loving the stamp set and other goodies in Simon Says Stamp’s Wild and Colorful card kit, I’ve not yet got very much use from it. Today I had a fairly simple idea for something I could make with it, and couldn’t see a reason why not. So here it is!
This card is a response to just one challenge – the current challenge from Daring Cardmakers. The challenge is to make a card inspired by the work of another card maker. And when I was looking through my Reader recently and spotted this post I knew I had to recreate Paper Puff’s lovely card!
