There were a lot of seagulls around when I took this picture. Most of them were the small ones like the one in the background – noisy little things!
This view amused me, so I took a picture of it. I think it was something to do with a brewery.
Today’s picture is… uh… I don’t remember what it is. Some kind of monument? Or perhaps an old fashioned lighthouse? That metal thing in the middle looks like it could be meant for a flame!

Someone has been eating those berries! I think I took this picture whilst we were waiting for a train, but I could be wrong.
Whilst we were in England we went to a tank museum. It was my husband’s choice of venue. I did take a few photos of the tanks, but in the end I decided to share just one picture from there with you. And it is this one. A picture of a flower and a bee.
Macro pictures are fun. I like playing with the depth of field, and really being able to control where the focus is. That’s why I like my new camera so much!
Today’s picture seems to be some kind of succulent. I love all the layers in it, and the way the green fades out to that purple-red at the tips. Also I really like the word “succulent”.
