Today I’m sharing another card for my snarky series, inspired by a stamp set from Chunky Monkey Crafts, who I am designing for. As with the other cards in this series I kept the design clean and simple, though this time I did decide to add an image rather than just having a focal sentiment.
This week at Watercooler Wednesday we have our feminine-themed challenge. I decided to create a nontraditional Christmas card as my DT project for this challenge. We also have some new DT members joining the team, so be sure to head over to the challenge site to welcome them!
I recently decided I would try to challenge myself to make things that are a bit different from what I normally make. This card is a result of that. I’ve made shaker cards before but never a full front one, nor have I ever made an easel card, let alone an easel card that is … More Full Shaker Easel Card for Sasayaki Glitter (With Videos)
It’s time for a new challenge at Cupcake Inspirations, and this time our theme is Magical Creatures! I used an image from our sponsor Crafty Sentiments Designs – who are generously providing 3 digi images to our randomly chosen winner – to make my very first attempt at a reveal wheel card. It worked out well enough after … More Brighter Days – CIC 447
The end of the month means it is time for another challenge at Creatalicious Challenges. As always our challenge is anything goes, with an optional extra theme which this time around is an easy one – add a sentiment. We are being sponsored by Fabrika Fantasy who are offering a prize of 3 digi images to … More Better Because Of You – Creatalicious #138

Christmas is on the mind at Cupcake Inspirations this week, where we are challenging you to create holiday cards. I decided to go for a very non-traditional colour palette with mine, and used a bright yellow card base! It’s certainly different, but I felt it worked for the image I was using. Hop on over … More Christmas Magic – CIC 435
When I blogged about my fairy shaker card I mentioned that I’d recently made some embossing paste. Today I finally put together a card that used it. This is the first time I’ve ever used any kind of embossing paste. I knew more or less what I was doing because I’ve watched a number of … More Glittering Gold
This isn’t the card I was planning on making today. I was meant to make something using some embossing paste that I made yesterday, but that will have to wait for another day because this idea came to me and I just had to run with it. I’ve had this fairy die for as long … More Sparkly Fairy Shaker
Today’s card has a lot of pink, a lot of sparkle, and a sweet little fairy peering through a window. Surprisingly enough it actually stayed pretty true to what I’d imagined when I started making it. That’s pretty rare – my cards often go through a number of changes from what I originally imagined to … More Fairy Window
