We have a fun new challenge at Cupcake Inspirations. Our theme for the next couple of weeks is Cats. You can make anything you like as long as it has one or more cats on it!
The first Cupcake Inspiration Challenge of the year has now been open for a week, and I’m back to share a second card I made using our colour theme. In this challenge we’re looking for projects that use green, white and brown. The particular shades of those colours aren’t too important, as long as we … More CIC 486 | Birthday Monster | Brown, Green & White
I was planning something a bit more involved for this week’s project for The Little Paper Tree. It will have to wait for another time though as I just didn’t have enough time to work on it! I’m busily trying to get through projects before leaving to England (then Scotland, then England again) ready for … More The Little Paper Tree | Using Solid Accent Stamps | Video
In my newest video for The Little Paper Tree I am showing how to get more use out of your background stamps by layering them together. I have a few background stamps in my stash but I don’t get as much use out of them as I would like, so I thought I’d have a … More The Little Paper Tree | Layered Background Stamps | Video
With the coffee hop going strong I couldn’t resist making a coffee card for my The Little Paper Tree design team project. (You can see my previous entries to the hop here, here and here.) I kept it clean and simple, and played with the ombre stamping technique for adding colour to my card.

I did have some technical issues with the video (my camera kept cutting off!) but it was a pretty simple card to make and I … More The Little Paper Tree | Adding Detail to Stamps | Video

I’m a bit late sharing this with you all! The weekend away last week threw me off more than I’d expected, so instead of having the video ready to go on Thursday I haven’t been able to share it with you until today. But it’s here at last! As always I had a lot of … More 10 Cards 1 Kit – Love From Lizi Card Kit June 2018 (With Video)
It’s time for a new challenge at Cupcake Inspirations, and this time our theme is Magical Creatures! I used an image from our sponsor Crafty Sentiments Designs – who are generously providing 3 digi images to our randomly chosen winner – to make my very first attempt at a reveal wheel card. It worked out well enough after … More Brighter Days – CIC 447
