I’m excited to be joining Alicia of Call Me Crafty Al for her Inspired Saturdays Collaboration this week. The idea of the collaboration is that we each create a project inspired by the other. I was inspired by a back to school card that Alicia made – you can see the video here or find … More Inspired Saturdays Collab | Brushstroke Florals
This week at Watercooler Wednesdays Heidi is hosting our all about occasions challenge! And given that today is Valentine’s I decided to share a set of Valentine’s notecards I created with the Simon Says Stamp Foodie Friends stamp set, which came in the recent Valentine’s card kit.
Today was one of those days that I just wanted to paint some flowers. So I did! I’d had the rough idea for this card in my mind for a while now, and it was really fun to actually make it at last.
Today’s card is actually two cards! I’ve been wanting to try this technique of mixing and matching two similar but contrasting images ever since I saw the technique done by one of the YouTubers I follow. A few weeks ago I offered to make a bunch of thank you cards as a wedding gift for a family member. The idea being that they can then use the thank you cards to send out to people who give them wedding presents. I’ve been mulling over some ideas for a while, and finally … More Pop-Up Butterfly Thanks

I had a lot of fun making this card. I had a rough idea what I wanted to make when I started on it, and it all came together brilliantly. There were a couple of issues along the way, mostly with fussy cutting the monkeys – they’re very fiddly! – but nothing too frustrating.
When I received Clearly Besotted’s Feeling Sheepish stamp set as a Christmas present from my brother and his fiance I knew I had to make them a thank you card using it! This is what I came up with. It’s one of those cards that, thankfully, came together pretty much how I’d planned it in … More Thank Ewe
I made this fun, and slightly silly, Christmas card last night. It’s inspired by the current sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch, as well as Inkspirational‘s challenge to use only neutral colours. I’m also entering it into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday‘s anything goes challenge.
