Father Christmas
Here’s a card I put together today. I used the layout from Freshly Made Sketches, the Santa theme from Sweet Stampin’, and I’m also entering this card to Craftyhazelnut’s Christmas Challenge Extra which is anything Christmas.

I made two cards yesterday, but unfortunately before I was able to blog them my fever came back and I wasn’t able to… Well, I’ll share them with you now. The first is a response to two challenges – the sketch comes from My Favorite Things, and the Spring theme is from Mod Squad.
The second card of today is another quick and simple one layer card. This time it is a Christmas card! I actually made this one in a few spare minutes before I left for work this morning, and I had to be very quiet doing it because husband was sleeping and the bed is pretty … More Merry Little Christmas Tree
This card was pretty fun to make! The layout for it comes from Mojo Monday and the colour scheme from My Favorite Things’ Colour Challenge. Merry Monday asked for a Christmas card featuring outdoor fun, whilst Christmas at Sweet Stampin’ and Craftyhazelnut’s Christmas Challenge Extra wanted anything Christmas. Allsorts Challenge Blog is looking for a creature as the … More Cool Yule
I decided to make a card this evening! It’s been longer than I would like since the last time I made one. I ended up incorporating a fair few challenges into the creation of this card. The layout is based on Viva la Verve‘s first November sketch challenge. The colour scheme of orange, brown and … More Thankful Tree
The Christmas card I’m sharing with you today is the result of a large number of challenges! I started with the layout from retrosketches, which went nicely with Daring Cardmakers‘ and The Cats Pajamas‘ challenges to use a tag. I knew from the start I wanted it to be a Christmas card, so included Craftyhazelnut’s … More Let It Snow
The first card I have to share with you today is a CAS card primarily inspired by the Butterfly Challenge‘s C is for Checkered and/or Cyan challenge. I combined it with My Favorite Things‘ sketch challenge, Daring Cardmakers‘ seriously monochromatic challenge, Pixie’s Snippets Playground, and Craftyhazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge.
Here’s the second card of today! This one caused me a lot of trouble. I ended up changing my plans completely, removing most of the challenges I was planning to use and adding in a new one. I’m now entering it to Less is More‘s peacock colour scheme, and Paru’s Card Making Challenges‘ words based challenge.
I think this may be one of my favourite cards that I’ve made lately. It’s one of those ones that I had the idea first and looked for challenges that would fit it well second. Maybe that’s why it only has two challenges. For this card I went with the layout from My Favorite Things and … More Bright Thankful Flowers
I’ll try to be quick with this post because I have packing to do. And I was going to try and get cards done ready for blogging over the weekend but that seems unlikely… Anyway. This card is a response to: the layout from retrosketches; Addicted to CAS‘s music code word* (I just realised that … More Fairy Dance
