I’m still playing catch up with card kits! I have the April card kit from Simon Says Stamp to share with you today. I know lots of people have already provided inspiration for this kit, but if you’ve yet to dig into yours perhaps you’ll find this useful! Advertisements
Yesterday was World Cardmaking Day! I know I didn’t share any cards on the blog, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t busy making cards in the time I had available. I noticed that MFT is running a series of challenges for the day, and decided to join in. I don’t yet have any MFT products … More World Cardmaking Day Creations
I have a very quick card to share with you. Quick, but fun! I received a new card kit a couple of hours ago. Crafty Ola‘s Kit of the Month for August, which is called “Sail with me“. Of course I wanted to have a play with it, but I didn’t have a lot of … More Dreams Set Sail
Today I have another card to share which I made with the Scrapping For Less pirate and mermaid themed June card kit. There are no mermaids or pirates on this card though! Instead I created a sweet watercolour scene with a jellyfish, seahorse and a variety of fish.

It’s not perfect and I definitely have room to improve, but I had fun doing it and … More Unicorn Slider (With Video)

If I’d got on with it instead of procrastinating then maybe I would have actually been able … More Wishing You Rainbows
Interactive cards are a lot of fun! It’s so satisfying to play with them after finishing creating. I’ve made a few types of interactive cards – mostly shakers but I’ve also done a slider as well as a spinner card. Today I had a go at another type of interactive card – a pull tab card!
This card really took me outside my comfort zone. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about it… There is absolutely no stamping on this. Everything you see I did by hand (aside from the die cut window, that is).
This card took me quite a long time to make, and I’ll explain why in a moment! It’s my interpretation of the current layout from CAS(E) This Sketch, combined with DRS Designs‘ challenge to incorporate sun rays, and The Paper Players request for a source of light.
This bright and cheerful CAS birthday card is the first of many cards that I made today. The others are scheduled in to post over the next couple of days. There may not be any for a few days after that, as I’ll be in England! Anyway, this card is a response to four challenges: Seize … More Colourful Happy Birthday
