This card has a little more going on than I usually prefer. I think it’s fun to change things up occasionally, and try something different! I only had a rough idea what I wanted to make when I started this card, and I allowed it to develop as I went.

I enjoy making scene cards. Often when I make them they have a fair bit of dimension to them, as the different layers are popped up on top of each other. Today I took a different approach. Despite the appearance of dimension this card is completely flat, all thanks to the inlay die cutting technique.

This card really built itself as I went along. I didn’t have a clue what I would end up with when I started creating. As I created elements the ideas started flowing, and this is what I came up with in the end.
I’m posting this card a bit earlier in the day than I usually blog. That’s because inspiration struck for a challenge that I knew was closing imminently. Sometimes inspiration is very inconvenient!
