With Christmas only a week away it’s time for the last Merry Monday challenge of the year. This time it’s a tic-tac-toe challenge – pick a line, and make a card based on those. I went with the top line, and used stamping, patterned paper and embossing on my card.
This week at Merry Monday we have a colour challenge. Debbie picked an inspiration image with some brightly coloured baubles, and is challenging us to make cards using three of the colours. I decided to use the two shades of blue along with the lighter green for my card featuring an adorable penguin couple in … More Penguins In The Snow – MM 269
I’ve heard of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop before, but this is my first time playing along with it. I’ll be honest – I don’t like coffee. I know, it’s terrible of me. But I am partial to hot chocolate which, as I understand it, as an acceptable alternative for the hop. Phew! My first … More Hot Toddy
This week at the Watercooler I’m hosting the challenge! It’s my first time hosting, which is very exciting for me. We’re all about Christmas this week, and I decided to make something with plenty of sparkle! (This is my second post of the day! Another new week means another Merry Monday challenge! This week it’s Colleen’s turn to host a challenge and she is looking for cards that have a penguin on them. I actually have a couple of different penguin stamps but I decided to use the ones from The Cat’s Pajamas for one particular reason – I’m … More GIVEAWAY – North Pole Penguins (With Video) – MM 258
I sat down at my craft table this evening with the intention of creating a Christmas card featuring a wreath. And whilst that may be what I ended up with, it’s completely different from what I’d originally intended. My original plan involved a lot more colour, possibly made of baubles and perhaps coloured in with … More Snowflake Wreath
Another card that I had a lot of fun making! Whilst my background masking didn’t turn out very well, the masking for my cat worked beautifully. I do enjoy making one layer cards.
On to the third and final card. This one actually started out as being my response to Less is More’s outline challenge, but I wasn’t sure the snowflakes worked for it so I changed my plan and did the flower card for that instead. Even so, I ended up including quite a selection of challenges … More Scattered Snowflakes
Here’s another Christmas card. The layout for it is from Mojo Monday. The theme comes from three different challenges – The Paper Players asked for snowflakes as did CASual Fridays, with the addition of glitter, and Sweet Stampin’ wanted snow.
The second card I’m sharing with you today takes is a Christmas card, surprisingly enough! It’s an idea I had – partially inspired by seeing similar ones on Pinterest – and it just so happened that a number of challenges were suitable to enter it into. Quite a large number in fact! Inspired By All … More Christmas Snowman
