This pair of shaped cards were entirely inspired by the sentiment from Skull and Cross Buns’ Crafting Is My Superpower stamp set. I decided that if crafting is a superpower, why not make super hero inspired shaped cards! Female super hero outfits often seem to be ridiculously skimpy, so I played up to that with … More Skull And Cross Buns | Shaped Superhero Card | Video
Here’s another of the cards I made for the Hochanda show that Skull and Cross Buns was on back at the beginning of September. You can see the first one I shared here.
If you love shine you will adore the latest Love From Lizi cad kit. It’s full of silver and gold, lots of foil and wonderful shininess. It’s a beautiful kit but I think the heatwave had sapped my crafting mojo a bit because I did struggle a little with the ten cards for this kit.
I’ve shared creations from two card kits (Simon Says Stamp’s January and Valentine’s kits) in the last few days, bit I still have one more for you. This is the Love From Lizi February kit. It’s my first Love From Lizi kit and I had so much fun playing with it!

I’m not sure why – I just tend to have a bit of a block with it. Which makes my choice of colour scheme for today’s … More Birthday Starfish
This isn’t the card I was planning on making today. I was meant to make something using some embossing paste that I made yesterday, but that will have to wait for another day because this idea came to me and I just had to run with it. I’ve had this fairy die for as long … More Sparkly Fairy Shaker
Today I decided to put together a quick and simple Christmas card featuring some patterned paper. The paper pack these come from is one of the first I got when I started card making. As I was looking through what I had left of it I noticed I have been using the papers in a … More Starry Joyful Tidings
Today’s card combines two things I haven’t done for a while – a Christmas card (my last was about a month ago) and no-line colouring (actually only a couple of weeks ago, I see!) This card is also slightly less CAS than the other cards I’ve created this week, but after the other projects I … More Merry and Bright Owl
