ATCAS 7th Birthday | Hip Hip Hooray | Catherine Pooler

I’m so happy to be joining Addicted to CAS as a guest designer for their extra special challenge – they are celebrating their 7th Birthday! We are all making CAS birthday cards in honour of the occasion, and this is what I made.

I started by stamping the row of dots stamp from Catherine Pooler’s Punctuated Party stamp set. I stamped it three times, alternating between Aquatini and Lime Rickey ink, and I flipped the stamp around for the middle row so that it was going the opposite way to the other two.

Next I positioned Hip Hip Hooray from the WooHoo stamp set over the lines and stamped it with Midnight ink. I finished off by adding Happy Birthday from Altenew’s Super Script stamp set, also with the Midnight ink.

This card was really quick and simple to make, once I’d settled on how I wanted the final design to look! It would be very easy to change up the colours to personalise it to the recipient. Be sure to head over to the ATCAS site for more inspiration from their Design Team, and I hope you will join in with the challenge, too!

Love,

Lady Joyful

  2. Love the fun graphic feel of your card. The sentiment stamped on top of the graphic design is super effective. Thanks for joining us at Perfectly CAS.
