We’re in the birthday spirit at Cupcake Inspirations this fortnight, with our theme being Balloons. Although that doesn’t mean you have to make a birthday card – you could use balloons for a new baby, a wedding, whatever you prefer! As long as there are balloons as a feature on your project, you can join … More CIC 524 | Birthday Hedgehog | Balloons
I have two cards to share with you today. They’re quite different from eachother, but both share one feature – a complete lack of stamping!
I really enjoy colouring. But sometimes it’s nice to have other ways to use our stamps. For today’s card instead of colouring I did paper piecing! I have not one, but two masculine birthday cards to share with you today! They have very different colour schemes. The first is monochromatic, and the second is rainbow coloured. Both of them really focus on stamping.

There’s a new challenge starting today at Cupcake Inspirations. We’re going soft and pretty in pastels for our colour palette. You can choose whichever colours you like as long as they are pastels! I decided to go for a feminine, floral birthday card.

I went with a lot of wooden elements for the birthday card that … More TMR 149 | Wooden Birthday | Wood
It’s time for a new HLS CAS challenge! This month our theme is ‘three of a kind’, and as always how you interpret the theme is entirely up to you. I went for a trio of flowers for my bright birthday card.
We’re into the second week of our colour challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations. The elegant colour palette we’re playing with is maroon, teal and gold. It’s a beautifully rich combination with a lot of possibilities. For this week’s project I made my own patterned paper panel featuring the colours as the accent on my design.
I’m excited to be joining Alicia of Call Me Crafty Al for her Inspired Saturdays Collaboration this week. The idea of the collaboration is that we each create a project inspired by the other. I was inspired by a back to school card that Alicia made – you can see the video here or find … More Inspired Saturdays Collab | Brushstroke Florals
