Today I’m part of a the Encouragement Card Hop arranged by Courtney Kreeber. This is not just a video hop – it is a mixture of video and blog hop, along with some participants having sent in cards to be part of the hop. It’s very different from any other hop I’ve been in! For my latest project with The Little Paper Tree I decided to make a quick and easy masculine card. Even with changing my plan part way through it took me less than 15 minutes to create this card, and it would be very straight forward to make multiples of it too, so it’s a great one … More The Little Paper Tree | Quick Masculine Card | Video
I enjoy watercolouring, but I’m not that confident at it. I think my biggest issue is that I am not patient enough to work in layers. I managed to find my patience for this card, and really enjoyed the process of creating the watercolour background panel.

This card really built itself as I went along. I didn’t have a clue what I would end up with when I started creating. As I created elements the ideas started flowing, and this is what I came up with in the end.
A couple of days ago I mentioned that I had, unusually for me, started working on a card and then set it aside to make a different one instead. This is that card! I’d done all the colouring and stamping, but wasn’t sure what else I wanted to do with it. Today I got it … More Balloon Hugs
When I made this card I had two things in mind. The first was that I wanted to play with my new markers – alcohol and watercolour – and the second was that I wanted to use Crafty Ola‘s Kit of the Month for August, which is called “Sail With Me“.
