A fragile hope left

Languishing in careless hands

Shatters like crystal.

I originally intended to do the 3/5/3 form of haiku but I realised I’d left out crystal (although it was there thematically speaking…) So I rewrote it to 5/7/5 instead. I’m relatively happy with it.
