The weather has warmed up a bit. It’s struggling to stay below freezing. Which of course means the snow is starting to melt, and then when it dips below freezing ice happens. Yay…
That was a sarcastic yay, if you couldn’t tell.
Ice is the worst. Really. Slush is pretty rubbish too. It wasn’t too bad today but I’m sure it will be by the end of the week, and I’m not looking forward to trying to manoeuvre the double buggy through it.
Seriously though. The forecast says it will be 6 degrees on Saturday. And I’m not doing the Finnish thing. I really mean +6 degrees. Heatwave!
Another reason I don’t appreciate the change is that without the snow everything will go grey again, and that’s the worst for my SAD. Short, gloomy days surrounded by greyness and dampness. Blech. At least the snow brightens the world up a bit.
And it wouldn’t surprise me if the snow decided to stay gone for ages afterwards. Like “Hey, you had your taste of snow… See you again next year.”
Pff. Pff, I tell you.
Love,
Lady Joyful
We have no snow left at all. It’s all grey๐

Again, very humorous reading. I love the photo. The two little sheds or bungalows compliment the fence and the snow quite nicely. You really have an eye for photography.
