Sometimes it’s fun to play with unusual colours on stamps. Blue isn’t exactly the normal choice for an owl, but it looks fun nonetheless! Plus using colours in different ways is a great opportunity for playing with different colour combinations. I have a second card to share with you today! This one is a bit simpler and was fairly quick to make. Perhaps quicker than it should have been – I ended up rushing it a little because time was getting away from me! And now I have to hurry with this blog post too…
When I made this card I had two things in mind. The first was that I wanted to play with my new markers – alcohol and watercolour – and the second was that I wanted to use Crafty Ola‘s Kit of the Month for August, which is called “Sail With Me“.
It’s hard to believe but I’ve already made nearly 30 Christmas cards since last Christmas, and we’re only half way through the year! And actually that’s probably almost as many as I will need. Despite it only being February, this is the fourth Christmas card I’ve made this year. (And indeed I made three others after Christmas and before the new year!) This one is definitely one of the cuter ones, and I had a lot of fun creating it.
